Original, unused personal, folded note card from Norman Rockwell and his wife Molly, featuring a portrait of the couple drawn and signed in the plate by Rockwell. 6 1/4 inches by 4 5/8 inches folded, blank inside. Excellent condition.
This is an exceptionally rare Norman Rockwell item and the only one I know of available for sale anywhere. This is the Rockwell's personal stationery and was never made available to the public. It was only sent to family friends and Rockwell's colleagues. I purchased two of these note cards from the estate of David H. Wood, former director of the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
