RARE LARGE VINTAGE 8 X 10 GLASS PHOTO ENGRAVING NEGATIVE EARLY C. 1899

Early 1900s large format 8 x 10 glass negative of early engraving showing the M. B. Shantz Button Company factory, Rochester, NY. This is an original negative, one of a kind, produced 1899-1903. It would have been used for producing company catalogs, posters, annual reports, etc. It is in very good condition, with black paper backing. The paper backing may be flaking due to age, but the image itself is in excellent condition.

The M. B. Shantz Button Company was founded in 1887 and became Rochester Button in 1904. M. B. Shantz was an early leader and benefactor of the Mennonite Church.
