McCarthy era signed oil on board The Demagogue. 1956 signed Karen Kyukendall. Wonderful imagery depicting a wild-eyed figure speaking to a jaded and fearful crowd.
Board is 22 1/4 by 18 1/2, framed 26 x 21 3/4.
Some condition issues, board cracked in places with later, amateurish touch-up that does not detract from the overall appeal of the piece. The period frame has some dings and scratches.
