Reduced price $475.00 Regular price $600.00

German Hunting Association Dagger c. 1925. Excellent condition with original stitched leather scabbard, curved genuine stag antler grip plates with detailed brass acorn ornamentation. High quality, triple-etched blade with hunting scenes on both sides (with different scenes on each side) and with a repeating pattern of leaves and berries on the edge of the blade. The cross guard features symmetrical deer hooves, one pointing up and one pointing down. Below the cross guard is a fine clamshell which remains in perfect condition as does all of the ornamentation on this dagger.

The blade is 16" long, with perfect original tip, and 7/8" wide at the widest point. Total length including handle is 21 1/8" from tip to pommel. The pommel is brass, of a scalloped design, and lined ornamentation around it.

The matching scabbard, with twin stitched accent lines on both sides, features an additional matching acorn which serves as a hook for mounting the scabbard to a belt or strap. The scabbard is made of sewn leather and brass ends, closed and flat at the bottom.
