Rare late 1960s or early 1970s San Francisco Muni (Municipal Railway) operators uniform jacket worn by crews of San Francisco streetcars and buses. Fantastic condition, with great early "ribbon" style logo buttons and shoulder patch. This logo was only used by Muni for a short time, introduced in 1968 and discontinued in 1975 when the current Muni "worm" logo was introduced.
In addition to being a great San Francisco collectible, this jacket is in excellent condition and is completely wearable. All the buttons are present, the zipper functions smoothly, and there are no stains or tears. It appears to have been owned by a non-smoker. There is no marked size, but the jacket is large, around size 46 or 48.
