SOVIET RUSSIAN REVOLUTION COMMEMORATIVE METAL CUP VASE KREMLIN

Soviet 1957 Commemorative Cup for the 40th Anniversary of the 1917 Russian Revolution. Hand painted depiction of the Kremlin Spasskaya Tower with one of the Kremlin stars on top, and fireworks behind it. The painting is on a raised brass shield with scrollwork and a laurel branch. This is inscribed in Russian in gold ink. The cup is predominantly aluminum with a brass plaque at the base, also hand lettered, and a ring of leaves in what appears to be silver.

13 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" in diameter. Generally good condition, dented left side, scratched. An unusual piece.
