Rare Olympia SM2 Arabic Farsi Keyboard Portable Typewriter & Case. Textured grey/green finish with original Olympia Arabic nameplate on the front of the typewriter. Made in Germany. Serial number 1781047.
The machine is in excellent cosmetic condition with near perfect finish, chrome, keyboard, etc. Types right to left. All keys and functions are working, types smoothly. PLEASE NOTE: The carriage occasionally advances when it shouldn't. I recommend having the typewriter professionally cleaned and adjusted.
With new ribbon installed. (See photos for a sample of the text.) Carrying case is solid, in fair condition, with covering separating from case, latch and hinges rusty, stains to lining. A very hard to find machine, especially in this condition.
