Vintage USS Coral Sea CVA-43 Presentation Plaque. The Coral Sea saw service from 1947 to 1990 including a decade in Vietnam.
The plaque is wood, 12 inches high and 9 1/4 inches wide. The center medallion is made of plaster, painted gold, 5 1/4 inches in diameter and depicts the bow of the Coral Sea. There is an engraved brass plaque "With sincere appreciation from the Marine detachment USS Coral Sea (CV-43)."
In good condition with a few chips to the plaster medallion.
