Unusual Large Antique Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Shard in Silver Plated Box. Nice box, about 6 1/4 inches square, and 2 1/2 inches tall at the highest point.

Shard boxes are antique boxes made in China using shards of old pottery as ornamentation. I don't know the age of the silver plated box, but based on style the shard may be as old as 18th Century.
