Heavy brass plaque/nameplate from a De Lavals steam turbine, manufactured in Stockholm in 1959, detailing technical characteristics. 7 1/2 inches by 4 inches. In excellent condition.
The plaque identifies the manufacturer as "AB DE LAVALS ÅNGTURBIN" located in "STOCKHOLM". This translates from Swedish to "De Lavals Steam Turbine Co. Ltd." in Stockholm. This company was a prominent Swedish engineering firm known for its steam turbines.
