Very nice turn of the century scientific instrument. Original beveled glass on all sides with no chips or cracks. The components are all brass except the coil.
Marked "Tycos Micro-Barograph Made by Short & Mason London Gt. Britain." Also marked "Compensated for Temperature Chart no. 130." Includes box of chart paper, most used but 5 or 6 unused and ink bottles, condition unknown. Some chips to paint and light corrosion in places, but very minor.
Overall dimensions 11 1/4 inches wide, 9 inches tall, 5 7/8 inches deep, slightly larger at the base. Recording drum 3 3/4 inches in diameter, 9 inches tall. 12 pounds.
