Julius Ofner (1845-1924) Socialist lawyer, philosopher studied law in Prague and Vienna, and became involved in the German democratic movement and in reforming the law of justice. On Ofner's stationery, "Dr. JULIUS OFNER Hof- und Gerichte-Advocat Wien I., Wollzeile 12."
This note is torn at the fold. It appears to be written to a Professor. 5 x 9 inches as whole. Dated 29-10-98 (10/29/1898). Edge stains, paper toning, complete fold tear.
From the estate of E. Werber, born in 1897 and later a prominent Austrian attorney. He was also a musician and lived in Vienna.
